The Port in ComfPort derives from the name of the device that is implanted in the chest of many cancer patients. The Port is an object that it is used for the delivery of chemotherapy, medication, blood transfusions, IV fluids, and many other medical tests. One of the biggest benefits of the port is that it gives a central access point for treatments and saves a patient from receiving countless needle pokes in their veins. While it saves from pain and discomfort in some ways, there are still issues that many patients will encounter throughout their treatment. Our Port-T opens up so that patients may access their port. More importantly, it opens up the possibility of bringing added comfort during a very uncomfortable time.
